Technology is a key part of today’s music world. Advancements in music printing, instrument design, computers, DVD technology, music schoolDI synthesizers, and the Internet combine to have a powerful effect on the way we make music. Today’s musicians face a world in which technology is present and necessary in most areas of the music industry as well as the world at large. Those lacking music technology skills are at serious disadvantage when it comes to competing for jobs in their music disciplines.

At a music school, our Keyboard Institute of Technology (KIT) harnesses the awesome skill of some of L.A.’s most talented music professionals to offer the most inventive and thorough keyboarding education available. Students in our KIT program receive thorough preparation for careers both on stage and in the recording studio. KIT students have the opportunity to explore a full range of contemporary keyboarding styles including but not limited to funk, R&B, jazz, blues, rock, country, and Brazilian.
