To be successful in the audio/music recording industry, you need passion, talent, knowledge, experience, and a determination to achieve your dreams. You supply the passion and determination and we at a music school provide the tools and professional instruction you need to develop practical skills in recording technology. In our Recording Institute of Technology (RIT) program, you’ll learn recording from professional musicians, engineers, and producers who will work to give you both an inside look at the recording industry and unbeatable hands-on training, making you employable as an engineer or assistant immediately upon graduation.

Our RIT certificate program can be completed in six months. That’s two quarters (20 weeks of instruction) with a credit load of 15 units per quarter. Upon successful completion of the program, including RIT-specific elective courses, you will receive the Journeyman Certificate in Recording.
